The cheekpieces of your bridle attach directly onto hooks on this 3 3/4" dee bit, changing the bit to include slight leverage. This encourages the horse to break at the poll. Additionally, the mouthpiece is twisted, which allows for more control than a traditional snaffle. This bit is good for a horse in the beginning stages of training, learning to bend and balance, if they just need a little more bit in their mouth. Perfect to add to your bit collection!
Bit Design: A “D” shaped ring with fixed attachment of the curved and twisted mouthpiece, with single joint in center.
Myler Dee Ring provides direct action - applies same amount of rein pressure to the mouth. More direct signal than a Loose Ring. It will not pull through the mouth or pinch.
Downward pressure on tongue.
Collapses on bar.
Joint drives into center of tongue.
