This Myler MBL Short Shank has a Sweet Iron Forward Tilted Portand with Copper Inlay. This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes or rusts. Harmless to horses and it has a sweet taste that promotes salivation.

Design:A mouthpiece with an upward curve joined at the barrel in the center. also tge entire mouthpiece is tilted forward.

Function:

When the horse isn't relaxed at its poll this mouthpiece puts pressure on the tounge and puts downward pressure on the bars. Once the horse relaxed at the poll the mouthpiece releases the tounge and works off the bars.

Becomes a solid mouthpiece when asking the horse to stop
